Heatbreak or high quality barrel of "all metal" type in which the input Teflon only reaches the top of the barrel, the rest of the travel is done through the metal interior of the barrel, it prevents the input Teflon from touching the mouthpiece so it is suitable for high temperatures at which the Teflon can degrade. This type of barrel may require a few degrees more temperature and is usually more prone to clogging than a Bore type heatbreak.

Titanium improves heat evacuation over steel heatbreak, resulting in greater temperature differences between the block and heatsink. As it does not have parts made of different materials like a BiMetal barrel, it has greater durability (but worse thermal conductivity)
