Description

Features:

  • Excellent chemical resistance: the filament is resistant to most oils, greases, solvents, acids and bases.
  • Low water absorption: the filament does not swell or deform when in contact with moisture or water.
  • Good thermal stability: the filament can work in a temperature range of -40 °C to 80 °C without losing its properties.
  • Unusual rigidity for a TPU: Unlike conventional TPUs, INNOVATEFIL® TPU Hardness Temperature + is remarkably hard, allowing for the creation of strong and durable parts.
  • Machinability: In addition to being printed, this material can then be machined with precision. This allows for adjustments, finishes and modifications to parts with machining tools, opening the door to greater dimensional accuracy and high-quality surface finishes.

Print settings:

  • Printing temperature: 220 - 240 ̊C
  • Bed temperature: 70 - 80 ̊C
  • Printing speed: 30 - 60 mm/s
  • Layer fan: 60 - 80%
  • Material Flow: 100%
  • Layer height ≥ 0.2 mm
  • Nozzle recommendations ≥ 0.4 mm

The Shore A and Shore D scales are used to measure the hardness of materials such as TPU and are related to their flexibility:

  • Shore A: Used for softer, more flexible materials, such as rubbers and elastic TPU.

    • Lower values (e.g., 85A) indicate that the material is softer and more flexible.
    • Higher values (e.g. 98A) mean that the material is harder and less flexible.

  • Shore D: Applied to harder and stiffer materials.

    • Lower values (e.g., 50D) indicate some stiffness but still some flexibility.
    • Higher values (e.g. 70D) reflect a very rigid and inflexible material.
