OVERVIEW:
The MK52 heated bed incorporates Curie high-temperature magnets. These magnets hold steel sheets firmly for removable springs.
The powder coating applied directly to the metal makes it extremely difficult for this build plate to be damaged. If a hot nozzle impacts it, the metal can dissipate the heat. Powder coating also gives the surface a distinctive texture that will be visible in your prints. This textured surface hides most of the mechanical damage caused by tools. Only the top of the small bumps can be scratched, which will not be marked on the bottom of the model. This surface is used in our printing plant; Please refer to the printed parts you have on your printer for reference.

WARNING:
Never clean the textured PEI powder coated spring steel sheet with acetone. This will create microfractures in the PEI texture, which will deteriorate the surface over time. Learn more about printing on textured PEI powder-coated steel sheet in our blog .

Consumable parts, such as PEI sheets (smooth, textured, etc.), are not covered by the warranty, as coatings are designed to deteriorate over time, unless the failure is due to a defect in materials or workmanship. Cosmetic damage, such as scratches, dents, cracks, or otros cosmetic damage, is also not covered by the warranty. Only defective foils on arrival are covered by the warranty.
