Description

Photopolymer resins for 3D printing for technical use, suitable for the manufacture of 3D printers, can be used to create a wide range of photopolymeric resins.

CRYSTAL FLEX , in addition to being optically transparent, has a low surface hardness and great flexibility, making it suitable for the manufacture of flexible and elastic objects, providing a soft touch.

Suitable for open source printing equipment for a range of 385 to 420 nm.

Recommended Applications

  • Functional parts.
  • Flexible objects.
  • Transparent models.

The Shore A and Shore D scales are used to measure the hardness of materials such as TPU and are related to their flexibility:

  • Shore A: Used for softer, more flexible materials, such as rubbers and elastic TPU.

    • Lower values (e.g., 85A) indicate that the material is softer and more flexible.
    • Higher values (e.g. 98A) mean that the material is harder and less flexible.

  • Shore D: Applied to harder and stiffer materials.

    • Lower values (e.g., 50D) indicate some stiffness but still some flexibility.
    • Higher values (e.g. 70D) reflect a very rigid and inflexible material.
