Porcelain tile for 3D floors designed to be applied in thin ultra-transparent layers with a extraordinary strength and hardness. For this reason, it is used very frequently in the manufacture and/or coating of floors, adhesive vinyls, drawings and photographs
.
This transparent epoxy resin is also suitable for making crafts such as trays with dried flowers, jewelry and pieces of costume jewelry, seeds, fridge magnets and others pieces.
On the other hand, this product is a epoxy resin for wood with excellent adhesion to this surface, which makes it ideal for making compositions on tables and otros furniture and similar supports. For example, it is very common to use this liquid porcelain tile to create a coating on the table simulating a
thin glass.
What are the main ones? properties of 3D epoxy resin
?
- Excellent mechanical strength.
- Does not give off smell.
- It has a long lifespan.
- Buena superficial appearance.
- Excellent color and stability.
- High hardness
- Excellent transparency.
What is the price of porcelain tile? liquid per m2?
As a guideline, the price per m2 to make, for example, a floor with our 3D epoxy resin, is as follows:
- In the 750 ml size it is 19.12 €/m2
- In the size of 7.5 kg it is 15.37 €/m2
- In the size of 22.5 kg it is 14.82 €/m2
We reiterate that this is only an approximation, and will depend on the type and condition of the soil on which you want to apply the product.
Follow these steps to apply the Liquid porcelain tile
correctly
- Mix the component A (Resin) and component B (hardener
).
- Resin/Catalyst Ratio: 100/50 (100 g) resin (+ 50 g catalyst). It is recommended to add the catalyst to the resin and mix until homogenized
.
- Mix manually at low speed to avoid incorporate air bubbles
.
- Then pour this mixture onto another container Clean and mix again. This prevents uncatalyzed resin from remaining in the final mix
.
- Pour the catalyzed resin onto the surface and Extend with trowel or notched trowel. To obtain the ideal cure, it is recommended that the molded part not be used until 7 days after
it is finished.
- It is recommended to deaerate with a barbed roller, heat or Nazza Anti-Bubble Additive once the product has been extended to eliminate possible
air bubbles.
As it is a chemical reaction, products cannot be stored. Once mixed, the product reacts regardless of the environment it has, whether it is hermetic, in the dark, etc.
In conditions of low temperatures or when the product has a certain turbidity, It is recommended to heat gently (40 - 50º) before adding component B, to recover a completely transparent appearance
.
EXPLANATORY NOTE: The Weight of Component A, for example, in the small format of 750 g, is 500 g, which is approximately equivalent to about 438ml. The containers are not full to their full capacity, leaving enough space to add the catalyst in the same
container.
EXPLANATORY NOTE 2: If you want to apply this product to vertical, it must be done at very low performance (applying little product) and very little by little, because this resin takes off easily and the results of vertical work may not be as expected
.
