Nazza Isopropyl Alcohol

Isopropyl alcohol, also known as 2-propanol or isopropanol, is used as a cleaner for electrical contacts. -Does not leave residues -purity >99.5% isopropyl alcohol. It is NOT a dissolution -Slightly soluble in water Useful for cleaning the printing bed, as well as for cleaning the remaining resin on printed parts without a trace of stains.

Description

The main difference between PETG-CF (carbon fiber) and PETG-GF (fiberglass) lies in the balance between rigidity and impact resistance. Both materials improve the properties of the standard PETG , but behave differently under stress.

1. PETG with Fiberglass (PETG-GF)

Fiberglass focuses on durability and mechanical structural strength without being as brittle as carbon.

  • Impact resistance: Unlike carbon, which is rigid but brittle in the face of dry impacts, the PETG-GF absorbs energy better and is more difficult to break on impact.
  • Electrical insulation: It is an excellent thermal and electrical insulator, ideal for circuit housings or workshop tools.
  • Chemical Resistance: It tends to tolerate certain aggressive chemical environments slightly better than carbon composite.

2. PETG with Carbon Fiber (PETG-CF)

Carbon fiber is added to maximize stiffness and reduce weight. It is the ideal material when you are looking for the piece not to bend under load.

  • Extreme rigidity: It has a very high modulus of elasticity; the pieces are very firm and do not flex.
  • Superior aesthetics: It offers a matte finish that almost completely hides the layer lines, giving a professional look.
  • Lightness: Carbon is less dense than glass, resulting in slightly lighter parts.
  • Conductivity: It can have a slight electrical conductivity, making it less apt to isolate sensitive electronic components

3. PETG Standard

It is the balance point. Easy to print, waterproof and with moderate flexibility. Advantages: Cheap, wide variety of colors and very good adhesion between layers. Disadvantages: Scratches easily, is prone to stringing and has limited thermal resistance (approx. 70°C).

4. PCTG

It is an evolution of PETG . If the PETG isn't enough for a mechanical part but you don't want the complications of the Nylon, the PCTG is the answer.

  • Mechanical superiority: It has a much higher impact resistance than the PETG (it feels "harder" but less brittle).
  • Optical clarity: In its natural version, it is much more transparent than the PETG.
  • Chemical resistance: It withstands contact with oils and some solvents better.
  • Ease: It prints almost the same as the PETG, but with a slightly higher temperature range.
