Demolding wax for fiber glass and epoxy or polyester resins. Ideal for the manufacture of parts on molds and otros general uses, since it prevents resin from sticking
It is formulated with waxes synthetic to achieve multiple and effective mold removers, with a lower softening point than other versions to facilitate the application of wax. High gloss even at high temperatures due to its heat-resistant resin. Very effective wax for performing multiple unmoldings of polyester/fiberglass (PRFV) parts.
Main uses:
- Like demolding wax. It forms a layer that adheres to the mold and facilitates the subsequent removal of the molded part. Suitable for plaster molds, wood, metal, fiber, etc
.
- This wax is frequently used in toilets (bathtubs, washbasins, hot tubs...).
How do you use demolding wax? ?
:
To obtain optimal finishes on the surface of the mold, it must be completely clean; all traces of mold release agents and sealants must be completely removed. This is a mold remover that is easy to apply by wiping with a clean, dry and lint-free cotton cloth. Follow the procedure below:
- Apply a layer of wax to the surface of the mold using the supplied foam applicator. Allow it to dry for at least 30 minutes.
- Using a 100% cotton terrycloth towel, Remove excess wax by turning the towel over frequently and polishing until you get a high gloss
.
- Re-apply a second coat of wax in the same way as in the previous application, allowing the wax to dry for 30 minutes before deleting it.
- Continue with the previous step until the mold has at least 5 layers of wax. Once the last coat of wax has been polished, allow it to air out for a minimum of 20 minutes before applying the Gelcoat
.
- After the first unmold, apply a layer of wax. Multiple moulds can now be obtained
.
When it starts to become difficult to unmold, apply a new coat of wax as described above.
